Katrín Káradóttir is the Programme Director in Fashion Design at the Department of Design and Architecture at the Iceland University of the Arts. Katrín studied tailoring in Reykjavik and fashion design in Paris.

Rakefet Kenaan is an artist, designer, and maker, and has been a faculty member at Shenkar College since 2002. Rakefet holds a BFA degree from Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art in New York City and currently completing MS in Environmental Education at The Porter School of Environmental Studies at Tel Aviv University.
The essence of her work is multidisciplinary and combines different materials, techniques, mediums, and different workspaces. In recent years, her personal and professional work has been directed to environmental and social fields and is integrated into theoretical research, artistic practice, and teaching.
Ayelet Karmon is a senior lecturer at Shenkar who currently teaches in the Faculty of Design. She is the CIRTex managing director, as well as an active researcher focusing on textile structures and the ways such structures are informed by digital fabrication processes and material specifications. She has participated in numerous international conferences and exhibitions, presenting studies relating to material thinking, computation, architecture, and textiles. She holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the Technion, and a Master of Architecture from Harvard Graduate School of Design.
Avigail Reiner Avigail Reiner has been since 2009 a lecturer at Shenkar College for Design and Engineering, in the department of Visual communication and Industrial Design, specialising in Typography, book design as well as multi-disciplinary aspects of design studies. She completed her BA at Bezalel Acadamy of Arts and Design in Jeusalem and her MA in the department of culture studies with honours at Tel Aviv University, specialising in the design research.
Renen Ben David is a Fashion designer, garment technologist and development team leader, with over 30 years of successful experience within the international fashion industry, side by side with his academic role at Shenkar College as a senior lecturer at the fashion design department.
Main expertise: design and development of lingerie, swimwear, active sportswear, and seamless circular knitting technology.
Renen developed revolutionary knitting techniques and invented original computerized tools for the fashion industry. Created fashion forecasts and trend books for world-leading manufacturers.
